RENTAL POLICIES
Reservation Policy
Our reservation policy is similar to that of caterers and reception halls. We use the newest state-of-the-art reservation system. You can reserve your items over the phone or in the showroom. We recommend that your reservation be placed well in advance of the date of your event, as we do have busy times of the year. This will ensure the correct count and that items are ready for your pickup or to be delivered. You may add items if they are available. However, any deletions are discouraged, as the items you have reserved are already allocated for you for your particular date. Cancellations or deletions cannot be made any later than two weeks prior to the scheduled date.

Delivery And Pickup Procedures
We offer delivery and pickup on all of our party and special event items. However, we request that someone be at home or at the location we are delivering to in order to confirm quantities of items received, to sign the contract, and to make payment. Deliveries will be made during our normal business hours which are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday thru Saturday. Deliveries made before 8:00 AM, after 5:00 PM, or on Sundays will incur extra delivery and pickup charges. Please contact our staff for the changes. Delivery and pickup of party or special event items are delivered to the first floor or loading dock and stacked. Delivery to upper floors or downstairs, and setup and take down of tables and chairs, can be provided for an additional charge. This should be arranged in advance so the proper labor is provided and that the proper amount of time is allowed for delivery. For pickup, all rental items should be returned to the same location as they were dropped off at and stacked. If no one is going to be at home or at the delivery site on the day of delivery, we will need to know this in advance so the items will be put in a secure area and payment plans already discussed. The same procedure would apply to items being picked up.
Payment And Deposit Procedures
A deposit is required to reserve your party or special event items in advance. Rental, labor and delivery charges must be paid in advance, or at the time of delivery or customer pickup at Taylor Rental. We accept cash, local business or personal checks (with a valid driver's license), Master Card, Visa, American Express and Discover cards. In house charge accounts can be arranged in advance for corporate, business, catering or special event coordinators. Just contact our staff for details. Your deposit will be returned after the order is returned to the store and counts verified. It is suggested that you count the items to be returned, as your household or special event items are sometimes mixed with ours.
Damages And Losses
There is a charge for any missing, damaged or dirty items. We charge a damage waiver to protect you against any accidental damage to our equipment. This is assessed at 7% of the rental charge. Damaged items must be returned to be covered. A service charge will be added if food service items are not washed before returning.
